Community Wellbeing Fund Subcommittee Member Application Form 2025

Fill in this form if you wish to be considered as a Community Representative on the Invercargill City Council's Community Wellbeing Fund Subcommittee. Applications close 2 November 2025.

 In your application, you may want to consider:

  • A short statement introducing yourself and your background and/or whakapapa
  • Your passion for the Invercargill and Bluff Communities
  • Your experience being a community representative or any governance experience you may have
  • References that we can contact to discuss your application. This may include the name of a community group or community leader who is supporting you.

The current Committee is made up of 5 Councillors: and 4 Community Representatives, including 1 youth rep. The committee distributes close to half a million dollars per year and meets during the day, once every 2 months, typically in March, May, July, September and November.

Note: 

Those that are successful for the roles need to declare that they understand the conflicts of interest policy and fraud requirements and agree to be bound by Council terms including police checks.
