Hello, I'm Danielle Carson, your Community Activator here in Invercargill. Born and raised in this city, I’ve always had a deep love for our community. After working out of the region for a few years, I moved back because I truly love Southland and wanted to contribute to its growth and inclusivity.

In my role, I work on various community initiatives, including the Welcoming Communities program, to help every newcomer feel at home. I collaborate with residents and community groups to foster a sense of belonging and inclusivity by organizing events, providing resources, and facilitating connections.

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring Southland, participating in local events, and spending time with my 14-year-old dog, Toby. I also have a passion for art and creativity, which I incorporate into my personal and professional life.
